The Gifted Network was established by the LIU in 2008 as a networking mechanism for educators interested in services for gifted students. The purpose of the Gifted Network is to establish a forum where gifted educators can:
- Connect and share professional ideas and experiences,
- Stay current with Chapter 16 requirements, and
- Receive information and training on topics of interest in the field of gifted education.
Through the Gifted Network, the administrators and teachers of the gifted from the twelve local school districts in Luzerne and Wyoming Counties are given the opportunity to collaborate and share resources, lessons and projects. The Gifted Network typically meets for full day sessions once a month.
If you are interested in networking with other colleagues and joining the Gifted Network please contact Tara Bruza.
